The star recently revealed she’s ‘feeling much better’ after being forced to pull out of presenting the BAFTA’s because of food poisoning.

The presenter took to Instagram Stories to share a now-deleted post in a blue bikini and told fans the ‘vomiting is over’ after falling sick ahead of the ceremony.

On Sunday Maya lamented being unable to attend the awards because she’d fallen sick after eating some ‘posh raw tuna s**t.’

She wrote: ‘Feel much better today but still fragile LOL. Vomiting is over now. It was hell but made me snatch!’

On the mend: The presenter took to Instagram Stories to share a now-deleted post in a blue bikini and told fans the ‘vomiting is over’ after falling sick ahead of the ceremony

It comes just hours after she shared the devastating news that she had to pull out of this year’s ceremony after falling ill with food poisoning.

The DJ took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to reveal she’d been ‘sick all day’ after eating a plate of sushi, and was hugely disappointed to miss the occasion after picking out a ‘dress of dreams’ for the red carpet.

Maya shared the sad news with fans on social media, writing: ‘Soooo sad I won’t be at the BAFTAs today. I ate that posh raw tuna s**t and have been [sick emoji] all day

‘Was supposed to wear the dress of dreams, also I might have to wear it to the shop next week to feel better.’

The presenter has been a fixture at the awards in recent years, and in 2019 graced the red carpet in a busty sheer tasseled gown.

She had also attended a session at Shane Cooper’s clinic in Kensington, where she underwent Body Defining Treatment – which simultaneously addresses both muscle and fat.

She was seen in an Instagram post undergoing the procedure, which uses electromagnetic waves to induce up to 36,000 supra-maximal forced muscle contractions during each session – something it is physically impossible to do naturally.

Sunday’s BAFTA TV Awards celebrated and rewarded the very best programmes and performances of 2020.

Other guest presenters – Catherine O’Hara, Jon Snow, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jamie Demetriou, Tommy Jessop, Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse – appeared via video call during the ceremony.

Following its three wins at the British Academy Television Craft Awards in May, I May Destroy You, won two more BAFTAs on Sunday, for Mini-Series and Leading Actress for Michaela Coel.

The drama series follows a woman who seeks to rebuild her life after a sexual assault.

Elsewhere, the Leading Actor award was won by first-time nominee Paul Mescal for his performance as Connell in Normal People.

Malachi Kirby, another first-time winner, won for his performance in Small Axe in the Supporting Actor category. Small Axe had led this year’s nominations with 15 nods.

And Small Axe – which features five films that tell stories about lives of West Indian immigrants in London from the 1960s to the 1980s – also picked up two Leading Actor nominations with John Boyega and Shaun Parkes both receiving nods.

Rakie Ayola also won her first BAFTA for Supporting Actress for her performance in Anthony.

Another first-time nominee, Aimee Lou Wood scooped a gong in Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for playing Aimee Gibbs in Sex Education.

He’s been open and honest about mental health through the years.

And Howie Mandel admitted he’s ‘living in a nightmare’ as he detailed the at times ‘painful’ struggle living with anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders.

The 65-year-old comedian first exhibited symptoms of OCD as a child and told PEOPLE magazine that he leans on his family whenever he falls into a ‘dark depression.’

Standing strong: Howie Mandel admitted he’s ‘living in a nightmare’ as he detailed the at times ‘painful’ struggle living with anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders

Howie’s OCD materializes in ‘repetitive and intrusive thoughts and fixations, often brought on by his fear of germs.’

He admitted he now has the tools to help prevent potential triggers from making him spiral into an unhealthy fixation.

‘I try to anchor myself. I have a beautiful family and I love what I do. But at the same time, I can fall into a dark depression I can’t get out of,’ he said.

Honest: The 65-year-old comedian first exhibited symptoms of OCD as a child and told PEOPLE magazine that he leans on his family whenever he falls into a ‘dark depression’

Howie has been married to wife Terry since 1980, and the couple has three adult children: Riley, Alex and Jackie (who also struggles with anxiety and OCD.)

He noted that the pandemic and living through a global health crisis was especially triggering for his mental health.

‘There isn’t a waking moment of my life when ‘we could die’ doesn’t come into my psyche. But the solace I would get would be the fact that everybody around me was okay. It’s good to latch onto okay. But [during the pandemic] the whole world was not okay. And it was absolute hell.’

Love: Howie has been married to wife Terry since 1980, and the couple has three adult children: Riley, Alex and Jackie

The Deal or No Deal host was diagnosed in his 40s, but didn’t discuss his conditions until 2006 as he contemplated how it would affect his family.

‘My first thought was that I’ve embarrassed my family,’ he said. ‘Then I thought, “Nobody is going to hire somebody who isn’t stable.” Those were my fears.’

The comedian, who is in his 12th season as a judge on America’s Got Talent, often uses humor as a way of getting through tough times.

‘My coping skill is finding the funny,’ he said. ‘If I’m not laughing, then I’m crying. And I still haven’t been that open about how dark and ugly it really gets.

‘I’m most comfortable onstage. And when I don’t have anything to do, I turn inward – and that’s not good.’

Marie Osmond, 61, models skinny jeans for rare photo since leaving The Talk

Marie Osmond lost 50lbs when she started competing on Dancing With The Stars in 2007.

And the Paper Roses singer has been able to keep the pounds off by following a careful diet while including easy exercise routines. She has stayed at an impressive 120lbs for 14 years now.

On Tuesday the star – who left The Talk in September – revealed she is still in great shape after lockdown as she posed in her skinny jeans for a rare portrait.

Slim! Marie Osmond lost 50lbs when she started competing on Dancing With The Stars in 2007. On Tuesday the star – who left The Talk in September – revealed she is still in great shape after lockdown as she posed in her skinny jeans

Marie, who is 120lbs, said in her caption that she was ready for the hot months.

‘I love this time of year!’ the sister of Donnie Osmond told her Instagram followers.

‘I remember years ago dreading taking walks or hikes because I was carrying around so much extra weight,’ added the star who has not added weight since she slimmed down in 2007.

‘I lost 50 lbs and have the energy to get outside and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air!’ said the Las Vegas performer.

She finished by telling fans to ‘get moving in the fresh air in the sunshine for weight loss.’

A tiny waistline: ‘I love this time of year!’ the sister of Donnie Osmond told her Instagram followers. ‘I remember years ago dreading taking walks or hikes because I was carrying around so much extra weight,’ added the star

Osmond said she lost the weight with the help of NutriSsytem. She has been an ambassador for the brand for years.

In January Marie told DailyMail.com she slipped up her diet in the early days of COVID-19.

‘Yes I got the COVID 5 where I gained five pounds, but I got it off in two weeks,’ said the 5ft5in Donny & Marie star. ‘I called up NutriSystem and talked to my person there and she coached me, which is so helpful.’

Turns out she just needed to remember her portion control.

‘I had to just be reminded to keep the meals small, and I was fine with it, it was just a mini wakeup call. But this happens, no one should take a weight gain very seriously, it happens to all of us.’

The star relies on her meal system – she he does not eat three big meals a day but rather six smaller ones.

‘Everyone asks me if I go hungry because I don’t dig into a big meal, but rather have six small ones, and the answer is no, I am never hungry,’ the singer said.

Better in 2021 than in 2007: The star is thin on the left at 120lbs, and a little more curvy in 2007 when she was on Dancing With The Stars and weighed 170lbs

‘If anything I feel like I am eating too much. I am always satisfied,’ she added.

‘I realized that I had slowed down my metabolism by not eating and then overloaded my body. My metabolism was dead. So it took a while to get used to eating six times a day but when I did I lost weight because I was keeping my metabolism revved up.’

The six meals a day she eats include breakfast, a snack, lunch, a snack, dinner, then a snack.

When she started dieting she felt like she could lose 10lbs in one month and she did.

She did well though: Marie was a hit on the show as she danced with Jonathan Roberts; they placed third even though she fainted on the live show

‘I went in slowly,’ Marie tells DailyMail.com.

‘I thought I would turn out to be like my mom, but it was not true. When you treat your body healthy, your body treats you back,’ she said.

And she started exercising regularly, which she has kept up.

‘I love to take walks, I grab my audio books and listen to them when I am outside, it’s relaxing, it doesn’t even feel like a workout,’ added Marie.

Osmond left The Talk in September and said at the time, ‘One of the highlights of my year at #TheTalk was working with my dear friend John Redmann (former EP and showrunner) and I’m excited to continue our working relationship on several projects we are developing.’

She then went on to say: ‘Also, my husband and I just dropped our last two kids off at college, we looked at each other, laughed and remembered we hadn’t been this alone together since 1982!!

A bit fuller: The singer is seen in 2006 at the TV Land Awards where she hid her curves in a black suit. But by 2013 she was looking incredible in a mini dress

‘So, at this stage of my life, I’m looking forward to spending more time with him and visiting all the kids/grandkids.’

She is not ready to talk about her departure. But the star did say she has plenty of new projects lined up.

Marie is co-producing a film, and she will start shooting a new movie this year. She said that she loves acting and gives it her best shot.

‘Am I great? No. But you have to be willing to go for it,’ said the siren.

A family event: She was seen with her brother Donnie on The Brady Bunch Variety Hour in 1976

She has made a happy return to TV movies with 2019’s The Road Home For Christmas and 2020’s The Christmas Edition.

‘I loved making those films, they were great experiences, and I am truly happy people want to see me act,’ she noted.

As far as keeping her spirits up during lockdown she said, ‘2020 was a unique year, but I am always trying to find the lemonade when I get lemons.

‘It’s God’s way of showing you what’s really important,’ added the Dancing With The Stars veteran.

And the looker shared that she likes to stay in the entertainment business because it allows her to be creative. ‘People ask me if I am going to stop, but I am not going to stop because of fear,’ she stated. ‘I am going to try new things even if they scare me a little.’

The future also holds new music. ‘I have wanted to do this my whole life, symphonic touring,’ she said. ‘I am ready to take over.’ The event is being called An Evening With Marie Osmond With A Symphonic Orchestra.

She was at the table: Osmond, far right, left The Talk in September; seen with L-R, Sheryl Underwood, Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon Osbourne and Eve Cooper

She then added, ‘It’s good to challenge yourself. I like to be surrounded with people who motivate me and bring joy.’ Her last album was Music Is Medicine from 2016.

Marie got her start in the 1970s with the music group The Osmonds. She then went solo with the singe Paper Roses and had more success with This is The Way That I Feel.

In the 1980s Marie made a comeback in country music as a solo artist by signing a joint deal with Capitol Records and Curb Records.

The star has had success in Las Vegas and on tour, but it wasn’t until 2007’s Dancing With The Stars appearance that she reached a new fan base that helped her sell more books and land a deal with Nutrisystem. She then shed 50lbs.

In 2011 she remarried her first husband Stephen Craig. ‘We hadn’t seen each other for 25 years. One of my favorite things is to walk and talk with him,’ she confided.

And together they relish their family life. ‘I have eight beautiful children, three beautiful grandchildren, and I have a husband,’ she has said in the past. ‘I don’t even mind aging. We’re having a ball!’
